Where artisan plasters & faux earn their place
Roman Clay, Venetian plaster and lime wash are mineral finishes, not coatings. They're troweled in layers, burnished, and they move with the wall instead of sitting on top of it, which is why they age so differently from paint.
These are the materials behind our decorative scope, and we always board a sample before committing a wall to one.

Living with a mineral finish
Roman Clay, Venetian plaster and lime wash are not coatings sitting on a surface. They are mineral finishes worked into it, which is why they carry depth and movement that paint cannot reproduce and why no two walls are ever identical.
They age differently too. Rather than failing at an edge the way a film does, they wear and patinate. That is the appeal, and it is also why they are a deliberate choice rather than a default.

Color Consultation
Our in-house consultants bring real samples to your space, so you're not choosing off a chip under hardware-store fluorescents.
Prep & Priming
Furniture and floors protected, drywall patched, caulk and rot repaired, primer applied. This is where the finish is decided.
Painting
The finish goes on sprayed, rolled or brushed, to whatever the surface actually calls for rather than to whatever is quickest.
Final Walkthrough
We walk every room with you before we pull the drop cloths. You approve it, we clean up, you get your space back.

Getting this onto your project
If a drawing or submittal package already names the system, send it with your enquiry and we will price against it directly rather than substituting something close. Where nothing is specified, the estimate will say what we intend to use and why that choice suits the surface.
Either way the preparation is written into the scope alongside the product, because the two are not separable. A coating only performs to its data sheet if the surface underneath it was prepared the way that sheet requires.
